Amy and I got to get back out into the wilderness earlier this month. We had tried going out of Mammoth Lakes last year on the Duck Pass trail but we were turned back by the snow. Well this year we tried it again and this time we were met by very different weather. We really love the fall backpacking trips due to the cool temps and the fall colors we get to enjoy with significantly less crowds. This trip was the first we have had since we lost both of Amy’s parents about a month before. We had a chance to clear our heads, reconnect and enjoy one of our favorite places, the wilderness. We put together another video from our trip. We hope you enjoy!
Stunning!! So glad you guys got away! I love following your adventures. Lots of love!! ❤️❤️

So sorry to hear about DD’s parents, so glad you were able to get out backpacking. If you ever hike near the PCT’s midpoint again, let us know. Miles and I’ll be there to toast you and your remarkable accomplishments.
