Welcome to our backpacking blog. Over the years we have enjoyed browsing and following along with others as they hike the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT), Continental Divide Trail (CDT) or the Appalachian Trail (AT). We loved reading about all of their highs and low while seeing amazing pictures of their encounters in the wilderness. Amy and I felt a desire to follow in those footsteps by creating our own blog to maintain a record and share our trips with friends and family. We both love the outdoors and spending time exploring remote areas that not everyone gets to see. Our trips typically see us venturing off into the Sierras of California.
